Recently I was talking to a few girlfriends about the dilemma’s winter dressing can bring. The problem is we want to stay warm but still look stylish. Often our personal style can get lost as soon as you put on a bulky winter coat…but I’m here to tell you that it doesn’t have to be like that!
So how do we stay stylishly warm this winter? First things first, purchase items that make you look and feel good. Believe me you will appreciate this when it’s the middle of February, you haven’t seen the sun in what feels like years, and you’re sick and tired of cleaning off the snow every morning.
pop of color
Often when we invest in a winter coat we stick to the safe neutrals and why I think it’s important to have black, white, grey, green in your winter wardrobe, I also believe that bold colors work just the same. Bright color makes us feel good, and don’t we want to feel good in the middle of freezing cold February? 😉

When your jacket is a neutral color, it’s super important that you add colors that really suit you and the easiest way to do that is with scarves. I believe that when you wear colors that suit your skin tone, it can give your face an instant glow. It makes you look like your wearing make-up when you aren’t. Love that!

keeping your head warm
Whether you’re into wearing a beanie or a headband,it’s essential that you keep your head and ears warm in the winter. Now I prefer a headband because I think it suits me better and plus my hair doesn’t get messed up! 😉
