Every shoe wardrobe should consist of the basics and by that I mean black and nude for sure. Of course I believe adding a leopard print or snakeskin is always a win with any ensemble. So what would be a great addition to your spring shoe wardrobe? I 100% believe a new neutral you can add is pink. Pink? Yes,pink. Any shade will do! Flamingo. Rose. Dragon Fruit. Bubblegum. Peony. Fuchsia. ALL SHADES OF PINK. Pink works with everything. I was scrolling a few days ago on the Stuart Weitzman website when I came across the Anny pump (seen above) in flamingo! It’s a beautiful shade of pink. You may be hesitant adding a bold color to your wardrobe, but when worn with for example a monochromatic outfit the power of the shade tones down.
I also don’t believe you need to be super-girly or feminine to own a pair either. Julie Pelipas is a perfect example of a woman whose personal style is not girly, but she still knows how to rock a pair.
If your closet is full of neutral shades, then adding a touch of pink will be a great way to add some color. I want you to look at a pink heel the same way you would at a black heel. Works with other neutrals such as white, navy, grey, tan and I love the idea of wearing a pink heel with a great pair of jeans. Don’t forget about bold prints, stripes, and polka dots. The list is never ending. Pink heels will give you endless outfit options.
you know who appreciates a pink shoe? Victoria beckham.

Very cool, I actually was thinking of buying a pair of bubblegum pink pumps for spring! I already have a pair of soft pink loafers I wear with boyfriend jeans for eg., but am definitely missing some pink heels.
I love the idea of a soft pink flat! I agree, you can never go wrong with pink heels! Thanks for the comment 🙂
