You may think a t-shirt has little importance in your wardrobe, but I’ve recently found the perfect v-neck black t-shirt on Aritzia’s website and it’s from The Group by Babaton. It’s tailored but still gives you a feminine look. The fabric is a blend of Peruvian pima cotton and modal. Super comfy which is key, and works with everything from jeans to suits. When building your wardrobe, you need to have those classic items that will never go out of style and are reliable. Whether you choose black or white, make sure you find the perfect fitting t-shirt that suits your body. This t-shirt will take me from day to night, season to season, and will never date itself.
Below I’ve paired the black t-shirt with an IRO tweed jacket and a Hermes silk scarf. When completing the outfit remember that the shoe will dictate where you are going. For example, with this I paired with a sleek leather mule with a kitten heel and dark denim which is perfect for going out to dinner with girlfriends. This same look would also work with ankle boots, ballet flats and a fashionable sneaker.
